The Lost Front Best Loadouts by Class
Ready kits for every unlock: guns, secondaries, and how to play them on point.
These best loadouts turn the Class Tier List and Weapon Tier List into spawn-ready kits for The Lost Front. Each block lists a budget path (free/cheap) and a meta path (credits or pass). Adjust after attachment patches on Updates. Watch the mid-page loadout video for visual examples, then copy the text kits below.
Return to the Loadouts Hub for pass prices and buy-order philosophy. Deep gun notes: weapons guide. Day-one basics: Getting Started.
Assault loadouts (default class)
Role: clear → capture → rotate. Grenades in support. Mid-range AR comfort.
Budget kit
- Primary: AKS-74 (free, 70/40/33, 600 RPM)
- Secondary: starter pistol until you afford RPG-22
- Support: fragmentation grenades
- Play: trench approaches, pre-clear the point, then stand on capture
Meta kit
- Primary: AKM ($850) for all-rounders, or AS-VAL ($1250) if you live in buildings
- Flex: AK-12 when you need harder mid-long punches
- Secondary: RPG-22 ($500) for doorway stacks; RPG-7 ($2000) when the squad funds reloads
- Pass flex: M16A1 via American Guns (399 Robux) if you prefer that platform
Tips: Do not waste grenades on empty grass. Save them for sound cues in bunkers. If your team has zero heals, switch to Medic on the next death.
Medic loadouts (level 5) — practical S-tier
Role: same AR pool as Assault, but bandages keep the push alive. Highest beginner impact on objectives. Expand timing and restock habits on the Medic Guide.
Budget kit
- Primary: AKS-74
- Support: bandages first; restock with match credits before vanity guns
- Play: hug friendlies after trades, heal behind cover, then re-peek together
Meta kit
- Primary: AS-VAL for CQB medic carries, AKM for flexible mid fights, or RPK when you need longer suppression while still healing the stack
- Close breaker: community showcase KS-23 for doorway clears when bandages keep you alive long enough to finish the room—swap back to a rifle for grass peeks
- Secondary: pistol for finishes; RPG / GL-06 only if your squad already has two fraggers
- Mindset: a dead Medic heals nobody—survive the trade
- Attachments: prioritise a clear optic and grip once rails unlock—see Attachments
Tips: Heal behind cover, not on the silhouette of the capture flag. Call out when you are dry on bandages so Assaults stall the push for a restock. Pair with the S-tier notes on the Class Tier List and the full Medic Guide.
Marksman loadouts (level 10)
Role: lane control, overwatch, punish rotators in grass and on hills.
Budget kit
- Primary: default Marksman DMR / scoped option you unlock with the class
- Support: grenades for enemies under your perch
- Play: cover one push lane; relocate after two kills
Meta kit
- Primary: best scoped DMR available post-attachments update (community showcase pool includes SVD / SKS / VSS-style platforms)
- Secondary: pistol for close emergencies—do not ego-challenge AS-VAL users inside buildings with a long rifle
- Flex: drop to Assault/Medic kits when the map collapses into pure CQB
Tips: Your value is information and picks, not mirror-dueling every Assault in a hallway. Watch flanks on the minimap. Attachment rails from 2026 updates can change optic preference—verify on Updates, Attachments, and weapons guide.
Drone Operator loadouts (level 16)
Role: intel, harassment, creative angles. Secondary/support locked to drone + controller.
Budget / learning kit
- Primary: stable marksman-leaning gun you already understand
- Drone: spotting passes over the next checkpoint before your team peeks
- Play: callouts in chat; survive so the drone keeps flying
Meta kit
- Primary: accurate mid-long rifle for when you are on foot between drone lives
- Drone: prioritize disrupting enemy holds and revealing MG nests over greedy solo kills
- Practice: use quieter servers or the FPV practice experience linked from Discord & Community Links
Tips: This class is C-tier for beginner practicality for a reason. If your K/D tanks and your team loses points, swap to Medic. One good drone player beats three disconnected pilots. Controller support and drone changes are called out on Updates.
Machine Gunner loadouts — PKM / RPD suppression
Role: choke denial, doorway lockdown, sustained suppression so teammates can stand on the point. Unlock comes later than Medic/Marksman/Drone—community chatter often cites ~24–26; verify in-client (see Class Tier List and Level Up Fast).
Budget kit
- Primary: RPK as soon as credits allow
- Play: pre-aim common peeks; short bursts to manage heat/ammo
Meta suppression kit
- Primary: PKM for heavy holds; RPD when you want belt-fed pressure with a slightly more flexible rotate tax; RPK when you must reposition often
- Secondary: RPG-22 or GL-06 for clearing the one corner your cone cannot see
- Support: whatever the class allows—stay near a Medic with bandages ready
- Attachments: bipod/grip/optic choices matter on long holds—start on Attachments
Tips: You are a turret with legs. If you sprint into open hills, Marksmen will farm you. Anchor with teammates who can heal and flank. Compare LMG rankings on the Weapon Tier List.

Squad composition examples
- Balanced pub: Medic (AS-VAL + bandages) + Assault (AKM) + Marksman + flex Assault/MG
- Choke hold: Machine Gunner (PKM or RPD suppression) + Medic (bandages, optional KS-23) + Assault with RPG-22 / GL-06
- Intel push: one Drone Operator + two Medic/Assault + Marksman overwatch
Share kits with friends via Discord & Community Links, then refine after each patch. The best loadout is the one your team can still execute when the capture bar is half full.
